About West Bradley
West Bradley is a perfect English countryside hamlet with its own beautiful Norman Church.
Traditionally a cider growing area West Bradley has its very own local fruit farm sheltered by Pennard Hill on the edge of the Somerset Moors called West Bradley Orchard. They grow 20 varieties of dessert apples, with at least six of these varieties available in September for Pick-Your-Own. In addition to eating apples, 10 cider varieties are grown for local cider makers. Apples, pears and apple juice are sold in their own Farm Shop.
There are many excellent walks across farmland in the surrounding area making Bridge Farm the perfect base. Visit our pages on walking for more information.
West Bradley truly is a peaceful and pretty village away from the busy roads with an awful lot to offer visitors in terms of nearby places to visit and to take advantage of the many days out that can be enjoyed by all the family. |
